The Swedish elecations are over and there is now a new Government headed up by the Moderates. Socialism can only exist when it can spend Capitalism’s money and the last 10 years of the Social Democrate-based government has all but broken everyting in Sweden.
My best wishes goes out to Fredrik Reinfeldt, the new Priminister of Sweden. All the best.
Another 9/11

Can you remember where you were, what you did, what you felt on the morning of September 11, 2001? I can, but I can also remember what we all felt we had to do. Everyone I met wanted to fight for their lives. Fight, not run away. We went to Afghanistan and we showed the world that we can fight. Allot of unaffected people around the world said it was not just. They were wrong.
I have met young guys. Who joined the Marines just because of 9/11. They have one goal, to keep us safe. Not to get a college degree or some other reason. We are making a big difference in the middle east, but the press would have you think we are just there messing up and turning everyone against us. Not so. We have to keep a strong posture in Iraq for as long as it takes for the population to gain back the trust that they can take care of their country and still not get killed as soon as we leave. We hear about bus loads of police men in Iraq who get killed and yet the longest lines are not with the hungry and the homeless. No it is the line for new police men. It snakes several blocks in many places. How can that not be a success?
What 9/11 means for me is simple. I live in the shining city on the hill and I am ready at a drop of a hat to defend that city. I am also not afraid of what might happen to me. The city will be fine without me, but I might not be without the city. Keep living our lives normally but with one eye always scanning for trouble. If we change too much then the terrorists win in that they could in fact change the mighty US. We must deal with the blow and then strike hard to eliminate it from ever happening again.
