Super cool flight data

November 7th, 2006

Here is something I just got from a fiend. It is flight data from the FAA which in turn is made into a rather interesting animation. Take a look for yourself. It is really cool.

Voice-recognition

November 5th, 2006

Voice-recognition has come a long way. I tested voice-recognition back in the late 90s and it was nowhere near as useful as it is today. I am amazed at how well this voice recognition software actually works. So long as I speak clearly and not to fast it does a really nice job with getting all the words right.

For people like me who do not type very fast, this will most likely make me more efficient. As any of my friends would tell you “he might not be able to type, but he sure can talk”.

Some Things Never Change

November 2nd, 2006

So here we go with Kerry making remarks that are not only hurtful to the good folks in uniform, but quite frankly helps the enemy propaganda machine. For a second I saw the same Kerry who during the Vietnam war said a bunch of stuff that was intended to hurt and discredit the military. So we know how you feel Kerry, you don’t need to tell the world ever again. Just remember that when party politics takes a stab at the men and women fighting for us, it makes the enemy more bold. When they are more bold, fine young men and women die. They die not because they are dumb drop-outs. They die because our “so called” political elite keep saying stupid shit. When will they understand that the world is listening? Why will they not understand that they cannot rely on road side bombs in Iraq to make their points for them. The cycle has become to say things that makes the enemy bolder in their attacks. Then use the body count to make your point. Politicians today are lazy and want the media to do most of their work for them. Find something that the other side does and milk it for all its worth. Problem is, blood is once again paid for the freedom to do so. The President is not prolonging this war, the likes of Kerry are. They aid and comfort the enemy with every single attack on the President and the war. We can oppose the direction of the war without openly discrediting the men and women who fight in it.

Shame on you Sen. Kerry, shame on you. Now pack up your office and leave politics forever. Nobody but the enemy will ever miss you. Good Bye.
